Have you atoned for your whiteness today?

It is a critical part of a particular statist mindset to push feelings of guilt, and public displays of atonement as tools of exerting control over personal behavior.  I am not the first observe to notice this but it was in my mind as I read about Wisconsin’s new white privilege atonement bracelets.  Wisconsin wants white volunteers in troubled areas to wear wristbands and commit other daily devotionals to atone for their whiteness.

This is a stunningly awesome example of why few people trust the government education monopoly. Not only is this just stupid, it’s also dangerous. This is the kind of cultural self-flagellation endemic to totalitarian thought, which the liberal education industrial complex clearly displays (ahh gun pastry let’s talk about why you are a bad person)

The constant need for to push self-recrimination and the culture of guilt is a tool of thought police.   When do we escalate to the “2 minute hate”?  The Reds used to make folks publicly express their “crimes” of being born middle class and beg forgiveness.  Now there are programs where whites sit in circles a la AA and confess their “privilege” while blacks yell at them angrily.  (Seriously, I couldn’t make that up) Funny how whether Bolsheviks, Jacobeans or lefty American educators the thought process is the same.

Not feeling sufficiently guilty? Then you cannot be part of the program…want to be part of the program…participate in public displays of guilt to prove your guilt bona fides and proper displays of thought…no thought crimes and god forbid you are actually proud and happy and enjoying life…we can’t have that in here.

IG Report: Holder’s DOJ a dysfunctional nest of racial strife

A new report issued by the Inspector General’s office finds that the voting rights section of the Department of Justice is beset with ideological conflicts and unprofessional behavior.  The report even found evidence of personal attacks motivated by policy disagreements.   The IG investigation was prompted by concerns over how the case of the New Black Panther party was handled.  This was the case of black militants stationing themselves outside polling places in Philadelphia and brandishing weapons.  The DOJ had won the case, the only thing left was sentencing, but then when Obama took over the case was dropped.

Of particular concern to the ID were disagreements within the DOJ over whether voting rights laws applied to white voters or only to historically disadvantaged minority voters.  Apparently it was a sharply held view among many political and career employees that cases in which white voters were the victims should NOT be pursued.  Let me say that again, it was the belief among employees of the United States Department of Justice that the law did not apply equally to all; that it existed solely as a tool of vengeance against whites for historical and perceived “wrongs” against blacks.

Where I come from we call that racism.  Oh, and now President Obama wants the guy that runs that section to be labor secretary.  Imagine how he will twist labor laws to suit his ideology?

Well it looks like Toure was right. . .

After watching the juxtaposition of Obama in June 2007 vs. March 2008, there definitely is something to what Toure was saying on MSNBC.  To me, it sounded like two different men speaking.  Though it’s not unusual for anyone to change their tone and inflection depending upon their audience, it’s quite a bit more obvious when the left does it (look for Bill and Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden for the most notable examples), this was pretty stark.

Though it does sort of peel the onion back and allow you to see who this man really is.  A racist.  Maybe that’s too strong, but he does have no problem with playing the race card when it meets his political ends.  No one is more divisive than the left.  They seek to divide us, be it by race, religion, or the nature of our plumbing, and this reinforces it.  We can’t be one nation if one party seeks to divide us at every turn and for every politically expedient reason under the sun.

She’s just suffering from uterine hysteria. . .

While I understand that the title of this article is misleading, since it’s not just conservative women who are treated as hysterical when they debate facts instead of emotional fluff, I’m going to speak to my experiences as being treated as such and relate them to the overall dialogue.

I’m not a timid person, or some kind of shrinking violet.  I definitely do not back down from a fight….just ask my coworkers.  If I think I’m right, I will fight you until I’m blue in the face.  Unfortunately, I’m very animated, so making my point is often coupled with a wide variety of facial expressions and hand gestures (the vast majority of which are NOT obscene) so you could say I very passionately explain my positions.  That being said, whether we are debating the color of my shirt or whether or not abortion is murder; you are guaranteed to get two things from me, the aforementioned passionate delivery, and facts.

It gets more difficult in some arguments to not allow emotions in, however I try my best not to.  Though I will argue abortion, at length if necessary, I tend to stick to my political beliefs with regard to it.  Not because I’m afraid of offending anyone, though contrary to what some believe, I would not intentionally hurt someone who didn’t deserve it.  If we’ve ever met, you know this, but I have a very visceral and emotional reaction to abortion.  I have two children.  Neither one was conceived at a convenient time, or with upstanding men, and I have both of them.  My situation is just that.  Mine.  I’m not going to throw red paint or show pictures of aborted babies outside a Planned Parenthood.  While I think that they are an abortion mill that throws in the occasional breast exam on the side, that kind of disagreement is too emotional for my liking.  I would prefer to argue, as I have in the past, about the fungibility of federal funds given to the organization and how segregation to prevent tax dollars from being used to perform abortions is nearly impossible.

What really grinds my gears, is making an argument like that by myself, or God forbid, by a man, immediately brings forth throngs of liberals (sobbing hysterical women, or SHWs for the future) who rail that Conservatives are unreasonable and want to deny women access to “healthcare” or the freedom to exercise “their reproductive rights.”  Clever wordsmithing designed to evoke an emotional response in an argument that is factual.  Because the leftists don’t want the unwashed masses doing silly things like taking the facts and dissecting them and forming rational arguments.  They instead want those same masses to imagine that those who don’t want their paycheck spent on paying for Sandra Fluke’s $3,000 a year diamond encrusted birth control are the unreasonable ones.

Taxes are another favorite argument of mine.  The SHW cry about how the rich don’t pay their fair share.  Fair is a subjective term.  If you have siblings, or ever interact with other human beings, the childish concept of fairness is something you learn about very early in life.  The difference between the right and left, is that the right eventually grows up and understands that sometimes, life isn’t fair, and you work through it.  My seven year old doesn’t think it’s fair that she has to go to bed early if she mouths off to me.  But in sticking to the punishment, it teaches her that there are consequences to her actions, and as she grows into an adult, my dearest hope is that her going to bed at 6:30 a few times will lead to her think before she speaks or acts.

When I suggested to a friend I had known for many years, that he look into the historical data compiled by the Treasury before making assertions about taxes cuts costing the Government money, I was blocked from his Facebook.  And I’m the one who is treated as though I’m hysterical.  I didn’t even argue with him.  I suggested he check the facts, so that he could form his own opinion. . .and he immediately cut off any discussion.  Another favorite argument that the SHW use is that I worship the rich, or that my party (the party I’m affiliated with solely to have the ability to vote in primaries) is full of old, rich, white men.  Oh, and stupid religious fanatics.  And rednecks, lots and lots of rednecks.  I don’t know where any of you were during the RNC, but I can assure you my ass was glued to C-SPAN and while I saw some of the “stereotypical” Republicans, I also saw people like Mia Love (Black Female), Nikki Haley (Indian Female), Artur Davis (Black Male – Former Democrat), and Marco Rubio (Cuban Male).  Bobby Jindal (Indian Male) was going to speak, but instead he chose to forgo the convention and do his job as Governor of Lousiana and govern to ensure the safety of his constituents during the Hurricane.  Allan West (Black Male) is a notable conservative.

Here’s the difference between my side and the SHW’s side (aside from the illegal alien that spoke at their convention), I don’t care what color they are.  Conservatism is color-blind.  Liberalism is divisive.  But the MSM can whitewash (no pun intended) the coverage of our convention to fit their lying dialogue, but the facts are still on our side.  The problem is, that throwing terms like racism and fairness out, evokes that damned emotional response again.  Emotionally charged people are not known for their rationalism.

My absolute favorite argument is anything to do with race.  Because I’m not afraid, like so many of the more right-minded, that disagreement with someone of a different skin color automatically paints me as a racist.   Me: “I disagree with President Obama’s handling (bungling) of the recent spate of protests in the Middle East which resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including an Ambassador.”  SHW:  ”You dare disagree with our first Black President’s policy choices???  You’re a RACIST!!!!!”  Me: “It is unconscionable that the liberals used an illegal alien speaking at their convention to illicit a dialogue on illegal immigration.”  SHW:  ”You don’t think that we should allow our borders to be completely open to everyone, at any time, for any reason????  RACIST!!!!”  Me: “Eric Holder is all but guilty of pulling the trigger to the gun that killed Brian Terry due to his handling of Fast and Furious.”  SHW: “RACIST!!!!  Wait, wait, no, Bush started it!!!”

If you want to debate with me, present me with facts, not emotional premises, not non-factual talking points bearing little relation to the argument at hand.  If I wanted to argue with a sobbing hysterical woman, I’d date one.  If I wanted to be treated like I was suffering from the uterine hysteria, I’d get married again.

MSNBC says referencing Chicago is a racist code

While covering the Republican convention, MSNBC host Christ Mathews suggested that when Republicans attack Chicago or Chicago style politics what they mean is “black people”.  I am not sure how that works since Chicago is only about 30% black, but that is MSNBC’s story.  If I may help out Chris Mathews; what people mean when the reference Chicago is old style machine politics.

Chicago may be the last bastion of openly corrupt politics in the country.  It is a rough and tumble place where politics is a blood sport and everyone has to pay if they want to play.  The old Daley machine was very good at extracting money from workers and using it to by favors and votes.  They also ruthlessly crushed the opposition and those on their own team who didn’t toe the line.  This is what is meant by Chicago.  If Chris Mathews associates these traits with black people I suspect he is the one that is racist.

Racist codes in your everyday speech

The Chief Diversity Officer at the U.S. Dept of State penned a feature in the agency’s official publication, “State Magazine”, pointing out the racist origins of common expressions.  Apparently everything you say is somehow tied to past racism and hate crimes.  Really?  How much does this guy earn?  If he is a GS 13 he makes around 100k a year.  I think I just found something else we can cut from the budget…his position

Racialist agenda stopped Black Panther prosecution

One of the early scandals of the Obama administration involved accusations that his people interfered with the prosecution of members of the new Black Panther Party on charges of voter intimidation.  I was all over this story awhile ago, but like many things it eventually got lost in the clutter.  There has been so much going with this administration that one story never stays in the headlines for long.  Now a judge has ruled that Obama’s political appointees did indeed directly interfere with the prosecution.

Really the case had already been won.  It was just a matter of finalizing some procedural issues in a case the previous administration had handled.  Sadly, voter intimidation by armed black activists didn’t meet Eric Holder’s definition of a crime.  He dropped all charges and didn’t even explain why.  Really though, what could he say other than the case didn’t fit his racialist agenda.

In theory and principle the US Attorney General should have a degree of independence from the president because he may in fact have to investigate the president who appointed him or her.  It is becoming increasingly clear that this is not the case with Eric Holder and Barrack Obama.  Basically this is a ‘good old boys’ club.  Holder and Obama are personal friends and are backing each other up.  This is why Holder is trying to stop states from fighting voter fraud and why the White House is helping stonewall the Congressional investigation into fast and furious.

This New Black Panther Party scandal bothers me for a few reasons.  First and foremost it was not their case.  The previous administration had brought the case and won.  Why did these guys come in and just say “never mind”?  Second, this involved multiple armed men, standing outside voting locations in Philadelphia; they claimed to be there as security patrols but anyone with brain understands why they were there and what the message was.  Is the integrity of the voting process really so meaningless to Obama’s people that they would see this as a non-issue?  Would they have dropped the case if it had been armed white men in hoods standing outside polling locations?  Exactly!

Holder and his entire team at the Department of Justice have been thoroughly disgraced and have lost all credibility.  They have shown little interest in enforcing the nation’s laws instead of pushing their private grievance driven agenda.   Rather, they have shown themselves to be both racist and corrupt.  They are more interested in some misguided sense of racial solidarity than in the concept of blind justice distributed equitably for all.  They protect their own and push their agenda while innocent people are caught in the figurative, and sometimes literal, crossfire.  This is only compounded by their penchant for distortion, obfuscation and outright lying.  The DOJ used to prosecute gangsters, now they are acting like them.

Racism works both ways

Years ago I was living in Brooklyn, NY, and a black man was running for mayor.  His name was David Dinkins.  He was running against Rudy Giuliani.  President Clinton endorsed Mr. Dinkins and came to New York to campaign for him.  There was a rally and President Clinton said the following:

“The trouble with most Americans is that they just can’t vote for someone who is different than they are.”

You see, he was trying to persuade the white voter to vote for the black, Mr. Dinkins.

Well, Giuliani won that particular race and after the statistics came out with the breakdown of how the vote went,  I realized that what President Clinton said was so true.  You see, Dinkins got 95% of the black vote.  So Clinton was right:

“The trouble with most Americans is that they just can’t vote for someone who is different than they are.”

Assume there was an election between a white and black.  Assume that the white person won.   Assume that the white person got 95% of the white vote, and now assume that the black person got 95% of the black vote.   The black lost the election.   Now you would have the black community yelling racism.  No one would think, “Hey, wait a minute.  The black vote was a racist vote also.”

People just accept this kind of thing as if it’s quite normal and absolutely not controversial how blacks vote 95% for the black person, but if the whites in this country were to do that as far as a white running against a black person,  the word “racism” would be brought up immediately.

Racism works both ways.

Is Romney too White?

Obviously the answer to that is no.  However, a liberal group is pushing that exact line of attack against Mitt Romney.  A recent video released by the group, “the Message”, purports to be a satire of Romney preparing for his upcoming speech before the NAACP.  The video is actually a racist attack on Romney, with an attack on his religion thrown in for good measure.  I also wonder if they see the irony in launching this attack when Romney is attempting to reach out an organization which claims to represent the interests of Black Americans.  Or perhaps their goal is to sabotage Romney’s efforts?

I will go further and say the video is racist against both Blacks and Whites.  The video has the actors pretending to be Romney and his advisers fretting over why Blacks don’t like them.  They suggest it is because Romney is “so White he makes white bread look like pumpernickel”.  I don’t even know what that means.  I suspect however it means that being educated, well spoken and successful and working hard to achieve that success is being “White”.

This is where the video is also racist against Blacks because the implicit assumption must then be that Blacks will not or cannot work hard to achieve educational or professional success.  If they are defining ‘whiteness’ as speaking properly and presenting oneself well, how then must the makers of this video define ‘blackness’?  Let’s look at Romney, a man who is married to the mother of his kids and has been in a committed relationship for most of his life.  He worked to excel in school and in the business world.  He is an entrepreneur and hard working family man who also cares about people and his employees.  When a daughter of a business partner was kidnapped; Romney and the rest of the guys at Bain shut down operations and went to New York to coordinate the search.  He is, by all accounts, a polite, smart and well mannered individual.

If anything above is part of Romney’s alleged ‘whiteness’, what must the makers of this video assume constitutes ‘blackness’?  These, obviously pure and in no way racist, liberals must be assuming that just as black is the opposite of white, so must the qualities which constitute ‘blackness’ be the inverse of ‘whiteness’.  They must be assuming that to be Black means to not push oneself to succeed, or do well in school.  Perhaps these well intentioned and fashionable liberals, one of whom came from Media Matters and another of whom used to run AOL, perhaps they think Blacks are lazy, ill mannered thugs who father multiple children out of wedlock.

Come to think of it, Barrack Obama seems to be a successful and well mannered family man just like Romney; is Obama also “too White to be liked” by Blacks.  Since Obama garnered more than 90% of the Black vote last election that seems unlikely.  Perhaps these well meaning liberals, obviously much more smart and caring then the rest of us, think that Blacks are too racist to vote for a White guy, or only voted for Obama because they thought he was Black.  But then, that sounds like racism and I always thought liberals cannot be racist.

The truth is we are too divided by race in this country and I submit it is the very type people who made this video that are to blame for this sad fact.  They are consumed by race and it infects everything they see or do.   Everything to these types of folks is about some racial injustice from before I was even born, or some liberal white guilt they try to push on the rest of us.  Too many folks, of every color and ethnic variant allow themselves to be identified and categorized by pigment.  I have seen no study that dictates the way one processes information or treats others is a function of the melanin content of one’s skin.

We are all Americans bound by the same rights and freedoms and responsibilities.  We live under the same Constitution and are suffering through the same years of wars and recession and failed politics. Let’s face it, Bush and Obama have been bad for Blacks and Whites.   The sins of the past are in the past and only united can we move forward.  I submit that anyone who asks you to define yourself and segregate yourself based on some perceived racial solidarity or past grievance is the real racist and only when we banish them from polite society will our nation move forward.

If You Have Nothing To Say, Say “Racism”

Al Sharpton and a bunch  of  ”black  leaders”  were out in force today making speeches and trying to explain away the investigation of Eric Holder as being because of Racism.  See, don’t you get it?  It’s because Holder is black, that’s why he’s under investigation,  not because of his actions.

First of all, let me enlighten these misguided ”racists” and I’m talking about black racists, that if I was a black person and I was subjected to the likes of Obama and Holder, I would be out there screaming at the top of my lungs to “Get Rid Of Them!  They are embarrassing me and my race.”  I wouldn’t be out there making up bazaar, asinine excuses to justify their actions, and thereby, embarrassing my race.

These racists who are defending Holder and the President should be made aware of a few things, if they are not already aware of it, that Obama could never have won the 2008 election if not for the white vote.   This statement is irrefutable, so there’s no argument that could be made to controvert that statement that would be logical.   Absolutely a true statement.  America is made up of about 75% whites.  You see, there was no white racism in that election. Sharpton and his racist bunch have the audacity to stand up and imply racism is in play in the Holder investigation, and there have also been cries of racism directed toward people that criticize Obama.  You see, these black racists are so devoid of truth, honesty and commonsense that it defies reality.  These black racists are just that – Racists – in every sense of the word.  Racism is racism if directed toward blacks by whites or toward whites by blacks.

It matters not to them what Holder may have been complicit in, because he’s black.  Therefore, “Whitey is out to get him.”  It’s hogwash!

I, as an American, still cannot believe the absolute stupidity of the whites in this country to elect Obama president.     To me, any white person who voted for this man is pathetic.   No, no, not because he’s black.  The question is:  Who was this man?   Not this black man – “This man” – that would make any individual, black or white vote for him, to vote for him over a true American war hero, house member and a senator for 21 years?  What was his resume?  What had he ever done in life to warrant a vote from anyone, black or white,  to become the President of the United States of America?   Let me repeat:  President of the United States of America!

Because of who Obama was, and is, we have appointments like Holder, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg if you investigate who the czars are that he has appointed.

So now Obama, through his policies and lack thereof, is showing everyone how inexperienced and incompetent he is for the job, and these Black Racists, Democrat black racists are running around defending this absolute failure.

Well, frankly, I have had enough of it.  Take your racism comments and shove it.  That’s exactly how I feel.  Enough already!  Stop condoning bad behavior because the target is black.  Look at the darn facts and make a decision, but some people do not want to be confused by the facts.   They want to keep using the racism argument, but I believe it’s falling on deaf ears all around this country.  Yet, they keep using that great fallback position, shouting “Racism.”  That word “Racism” explains everything.  No need to go into facts or investigate anything.   It’s  ”Racism!”

So, you see:
